OpenwebRX of TA2OM.

Based on Linux, experimental operation 7/24.

update:

Had some problems. Honestly, did not get a real help from the developer/forker Jakob. In the group he patrons, finally I was told to use one of the suggested Linux versions, Debian and Ubuntu, or face frustration and expect not much help. I asked also him to revise some commands, since they producing warning. Nada!

The main "issue" was to integrate SDRPlay RSP1a. Here I have to mention, despite it was an issue witçh third party software, I got great support from SDR Play and yes support also from Franco at https://github.com/pothosware/SoapySDR

I insist to use Linux Mint with Cinnemon. Tried it with Debian and Ubuntu. Supposedly I should not face depencendy problems. Hoh !! More than in Linux Mint.

Yes we have the situation that Oqenwebrx (https://github.com/jketterl/openwebrx) "rules" (he does). Therefore thanks for the software, but nothing else more from my side!

And if there is any alternative, please let me know.

And if they are really interessed in the hobby, and having a single one operational SDR in Turkey, they should support me. Openwebrx and Oqenwebrx Plus !

end of uipdate.

3 antennas are in use! The vertical from Wimo is also used for my TRX. But mainly connected.
1 vertical from Wimo on the roof
1 dual band vertical on the balcony
1 longwire on the balcony from wowantennas (https://www.elettrofficina.com/wowantenna/commando.html)

I'm also trying to add more features, like ACARS, VDL etc..

The main big disadvantage of my location is, besides it is "over" the city but very very close to old style analogue radio and TV broadcasting towers. And for sure not only them. Many RF links, repeaters etc..Picture will follow..

There are too many FM stations in Ankara. Mostly the adviced space between stations do not exist. They also use very different locations for their antennas.

A purely clean FM band reception therefore is impossible. I'm missing also my longwire, which was used for LW, MW and HF. Since construction works started below our housing, the longwire antenna was removed from the empty aera. It provided a very good reception also on long wave ! Also medium wave.

Final setup I would like to have is to cover LW, MW, HF and upwards (ham bands).
